To address the thermal challenges brought by the explosive growth of AI and HPC, CYCU's Thermal Management Research Center (TMC) — the first research center in Taiwan dedicated to thermal management established within an academic institution — held the opening ceremony of the TMC Innovation Lab on March 12, 2026.

Prof. Huei-Chu Weng, Director of the TMC and PI of the Thermal-Fluid and Energy Science Laboratory, led the center and its research team, which integrates expertise in thermal-fluid science, materials, and systems integration — spanning basic research, system design, and application development.

Industry partners attended the ceremony, including Hon Chuan Precision, Quanta Computer, Supermicro, Gaoli Heat Treatment, Gaoli Thermal Energy, Gaobai Technology, and Cybernet Taiwan.
